TSM has gone through a few changes since its humble start as a simple Zen musings blog for to post my written works on. I’ve provided content to help enliven and enlighten, and now in 2014, TSM has evolved into it’s new dominant form, and it’s on that I’m very excited about.
TSM has been inactive for the past six months or so, and the reason is because it has been morphing into TSM Arts and Animations (TSMAA), a 3D art and animation studio. This new entity deals mostly with 3D animation, with future plans of entering the realm of stop-motion animation (but that won’t be for a while), conveying the same thought provoking and empowering messages as before, but via a more artistic format – that of animated works.
The fun will kick off with a web series entitled “RUFF!”, involving a young unlucky pup named Ruffus, living a life where misfortune just seems to follow him wherever he goes. RUFF! isn’t a series with a message, as much as it is just for pure entertainment.
The most anticipated project also in the works, which embodies the spirit of TSM, is ‘The Tale of Shi Song Shu’, based off a manuscript that I began writing about two years ago (with a slight name change), complete with original soundtracks and story.
Bear with me, as future posts and the format of the blog will slowly begin to transform into the entity that is TSMAA. Many many hours have been (and will be) spent, modeling, rendering, and testing animations for your enjoyment. The biggest project on the books, ‘The Tale of Shi Song Shu’, will take up the bulk of posts and time.
TSMAA uses all open-source software, most notably of which is Blender 3D, but I’m currently looking to expand and find some assistance (and funding) with creating the plethora of projects that I have planned.
TSM looks to bring stillness to life in a way that I never thought I could achieve, and I will be sharing the fruits of the innumerable hours of labor with you. Updates will be posted every Friday, as the projects progress.
