The Still Mind

Our world observed from stillness

About

TSM letters PROMO 3

The Still Mind is a blog about mind. About our mind, the still mind, and how one can get in touch with it.

There is so much running, so much trying, so much excess. The still mind has no place for the need for desires to attach to. It is without happiness or sadness. It just is. This is what this blog is about–the story of the mind through the voice of Chan (Zen, in Japanese).

I am but a solitary monk, with little possessions–only that which I need. That is all 🙂

Amituofo! ^_^

  5. Thanks visit my blog. Few years back earned masters as CHAP(Certified Holistic Addiction Professional). Holistic includes Mind, Spirit and Body. The Zen Way can be a useful adjunct to treatment protocol for addiction recovery. It can calm the soul and mind and fill the hole that people try to fill with drugs and alcohol.

    • Happy to hear that you are interested in Zen. Later I will also be posting some subjects regarding Qigong (chi kung), taijiquan (Tai Chi), and meditation, all of which serve to calm the mind and strengthen the body. Do look out for those, I will post them as soon as they are ready to go. ^_^
